Health Insurance in America
Justin Jacobs is haunted by memories of his abusive father. When he moves back to his small hometown after obtaining a degree in psychology, he soon finds himself lonely and depressed. Rebeka is an eleven-year-old girl rumored to be abused and possibly imprisoned by her father, suffering from debilitating nightmares and night terrors spawned by her past. Their worlds collide, creating a bond with roots deeper than anyone knows. But Justin will learn that to save Beka, he must fight evils much greater than an abusive father.
Find out if Beka can be saved in this suspenseful thriller from debut author C. W. Conrad.

In a recent survey, more than fifty percent of respondents reported feeling “completely lost” in trying to understand health insurance. The thing that confuses them the most? Figuring out what counts toward their deductible, what procedures are covered, and what constitutes in- or out-of-network care. Other studies have shown that 1 in 4 people have put off a medical procedure because they were not sure what their insurance covered. When people put off medical diagnosis or treatment, it makes conditions more difficult to manage and treat, costs everyone more, and could even be fatal.

I've had a minor setback with my writing. I have two books in the queue, and I had sent one to an editor who provided some great feedback. Unfortunately, to address the things she suggested will require a complete re-write. At that point I lost my ambition. In addition, my day job has required a lot of my time lately. When I pick it back up, "Waiting for Her" will be the next release.
